Dr. Pardeep Kumar Prof. of Economics at NIILM University Kaithal (Haryana) attended three days 107th Annual conference of Indian Economic Association in collaboration with Kurukshetra University at Kurukshetra. On this occasion crossing half century in writing books his 51st book entitled “Indian Economy: Some Major Issues” was released by the Chief Guest Prof. Somnath Vice Chancellor of KU, Prof. ADN Bajipai special guest and Vice Chancellor of Atal Bihari University Bilaspur (Chattisgarh), President of IEA and Vice Chancellor of S M University Ranchi Prof. Tapan Shandilya, National Convener Principal Dr. Angrez Singh, Organizing Secretary Prof. Ravinder Brahme, Vice President Dr. Devinder Awasthi, Vice President (South) Dr. A. Murgun, conference coordinator Prof. Ashok Chauhan. In this conference chief convener Dr. Anil Thakur, former VC Dr. Ashok Mittal, Prof. Paramjeet from Delhi University, Dr. Aminder of ICAR New Delhi, Joint Secretary Dr. S Narayanan, Prof. Dinesh Kumar of Meerut University, Dr. Dalip Kumar from Delhi, Dr. Dushyant Principal from UP, Prof. Dara Singh Chairman, Prof. Sanjeev Bansal, Dr. Archna, Dr. Priya Sharma and Dr. Manoj from KU, Dr. Anil Kumar from GJU and Dr. Baljeet from Hisar, Dr. Naresh from Karnal, Dr. Manoj Shiwach and Dr. Rohtash from CDLU Sirsa graced the occasion. About 1200 delegates attended the conference and 800 research papers were presented. Prof. Pardeep Kumar with Dr. Parveen Kumar presented a research paper on topic of “Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Haryana: A Pillar of Economic Progress”. He said that MSMEs contributed a lot in Gross Domestic Product (GDP). If some problems are solved then MSMEs will prove helpful to achieve the target of higher rate of economic growth on the one hand and advanced economy by 2047 on the other.
