Annual Prize Distribution Function Organized at Sharan College of Education for Women, Kangra H.P.

Under the guidance of College Director Shalini Saini, Sharan College of Education for Women Kangra, organized its Annual Prize Distribution Function on the college campus.

Dr. Anjali Garg, SDM Kangra, was the Chief Guest, while Dr. Pardeep Kumar, Professor of Economics at Kaithal University, Haryana was the Guest of Honour. The dignitaries and the audience were warmly welcomed. After the lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, the spectators enjoyed the cultural performances presented by the students.

Later Principal Dr. Suman Sharma presented the Annual Report of the college, highlighting the achievements and performance of the students in academic, cultural, and other activities. She further stated that all the staff members of the college are working with great zeal and enthusiasm for the overall development of the students and to inculcate ethical values in them.

After that, the Chief Guest presented momentos to the dignitaries as a mark of respect.

On this occasion, a book entitled “Educational Scenario in India” was released by the Chief Guest, Dr. Anjali Garg, along with Dr. Pardeep Kumar, Director Shalini Saini, Principal Dr. Suman Sharma, Prof. Ishvinder, Prof. Lata and all other staff members. The Vice Principal of Sharan College of Nursing Mrs. Priyanka was also present on the occasion.

Simultaneously, after the inauguration of a handicraft exhibition by the students, the Chief Guest, Dr. Anjali Garg, shared her experiences of life with the students. She laid emphasis on the importance of hard work, discipline, positive thinking, and learning, which are essential for success in life. She congratulated the prize winners for their outstanding achievements in various fields.

The second phase of the prize distribution focused on cultural awards given by Dr. Pardeep Kumar. He motivated the students and stated that every target can be achieved with the help of proper implementation of strategy. In the last, he said that the entire programme truly reflected the spirit of “Rising to Excellence.”

On this occasion, all the staff members, guests, and the audience attended the function enthusiastically. In the end, Prof. Ishvinder gave the vote of thanks and expressed his gratitude to everyone who graced the occasion.
