‘Hindu Code of Conduct’ to be announced at Sanskriti Sansad 2026: Sunil Deodhar
New Delhi | October 22, 2026
With the objective of preserving and promoting Indian culture, spiritual traditions, Sanatan values, and the nation’s glorious civilizational heritage, a grand event—’Sanskriti Sansad 2026′ (Culture Parliament 2026)—will be held from November 3 to 5, 2026, at the Rudraksh Convention Centre in the historic city of Varanasi. An important press conference was held in New Delhi today to officially announce the framework and preparations for this three-day national event.
The press conference was addressed by Swami Jitendranand Saraswati, General Secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti and the Ganga Mahasabha, and Shri Sunil Deodhar, Chairman of the Sanskriti Sansad Organising Committee and former National Secretary of the BJP.
127 Sects, 13 Akhadas, and over 3,000 Saints to Participate
Addressing the press conference, Swami Jitendranand Saraswati stated that this would be a historic cultural and religious parliament, bringing together 127 sects, 13 Akhadas, and 18 Khalsas from across the country—including 3 prominent Akhadas from the Sikh community. More than 3,000 saints and over 7,000 youth representatives will actively participate in this grand assembly. He noted that the ‘Shri Kashi Vidwat Parishad,’ which boasts a glorious tradition spanning over 450 years, serves as the guiding body for all these religious organizations.
Key Resolutions and Objectives of Sanskriti Sansad 2026:
1. Announcement of a ‘Hindu Code of Conduct’: During this Sanskriti Sansad, a ‘Hindu Code of Conduct’ will be formally announced to provide guidance for society and religion.
2. Repatriation of Manusmriti Manuscripts: Global-level processes and efforts will be initiated to bring back to India the original manuscripts of the Manusmriti—which were taken from India by the British in 1793 and are currently preserved at the ‘Royal Society of London’.
3. Preservation of the Indian Knowledge Tradition: Serious deliberations will be held regarding the identification and preservation of historical manuscripts and significant documents housed abroad, as well as efforts to bring them back to their land of origin, India.
4. Engagement of the Younger Generation: A primary focus of this event will be to foster cultural consciousness among the youth and to cultivate their interest in the Indian knowledge tradition.
Strong Warning from Saints Against Attacks on Sanatan Traditions and Anti-National Conspiracies
During the press conference, a sharp response was voiced regarding orchestrated agitations surrounding Hindu festivals. The speakers noted that the deliberate creation of unrest during Hindu festivals and celebrations hinders the nation’s economic progress. Issuing a stern warning to forces attempting to weaken Sanatan Dharma and culture, it was clarified that the weapons held by *maths* (monasteries), temples, and saints are not intended solely for *Shastra Pujan* (ritual worship of weapons) during Dussehra. If political parties do not cease creating disruptions during Hindu festivals, the entire community of saints across the nation will launch a massive, large-scale movement.
Shri Sunil Deodhar: “The Spirit of ‘Nation First’ and Ideological Resurgence is Our Goal”
In his address, Shri Sunil Deodhar, Chairman of the *Sanskriti Sansad* (Culture Parliament) Organizing Committee, recalled that in 2014—when Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi—the nation’s saints united to counter ideological assaults by establishing the ‘Sanskriti Parishad’ (Culture Council). This initiative has since evolved into the ‘Sanskriti Sansad’, which is now held consistently every two years. Strongly condemning the remarks made by Rahul Gandhi regarding the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Hindutva, Shri Deodhar stated that both the RSS and the ideology of Hindutva have always accorded the highest status to ‘Stree Shakti’ (women’s power). He also sternly exposed the conspiracies being hatched to create a rift between the tribal community and other citizens in Northeast India (specifically in Tripura).
A conspiracy by Islamic fundamentalists to break apart the Northeast:
Referring specifically to a recent incident in Tripura, Shri Deodhar stated in no uncertain terms that the humiliating act committed against a tribal boy was orchestrated by a Muslim YouTuber who is a worker for the Congress party. This is not an isolated incident; rather, it is a well-planned political conspiracy by the Congress to alienate the tribal community of Northeast India from the rest of the country and sow seeds of separatism.
