Congress will form Government in Delhi—Devender Yadav

NEW DELHI, January 24, 2025–Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav, who is also the  Congress candidate for the Badli Assembly seat, while addressing public meetings, appealed to the voters of Badli  to vote for Congress on February 5 to usher in change to bring in a honest Government  for the development and progress of Delhi, which only the Congress can deliver. He said that Congress had an excellent track record of good governance during its 15-year rule, which turned the Capital into a world class city. He said that the support for the Congress was overwhelming in Badli, as women, youth, elderly, Dalits, and every section of people were waiting to throw out the corrupt Kejriwal and his useless Government from power.

Several senior Punjab Congress leaders, including Ferozepur MP Sher Singh Ghubaya, former MP Khadur Sahab Jasbir Singh Dimpa, former MLA of Hoshiarpur Shyam Sundar Arora, former MLA of Amritsar North Sunil Dutti , made the rallies of Shri Devender Yadav a star-studded affair.

Shri Devender Yadav said that the Badli voters were showering lots of love on him as people have now realized that Congress was returning to power in Delhi and people have resolved to elect him with a record margin.

Shri Devender Yadav said that he was always in touch with the residents of Badli and its issues even when not in power, which has endeared him to the voters of the constituency who trust his commitment to the people there and his ability to deliver. He said that when Congress returns to power, it’s  top most priority would be to flatten the three land fill mountains, and the overflowing garbage dumps had made life for the people insufferable. He said that the dirty drinking water, water shortage, inflated power and water bills, broken roads, waterlogged areas, stoppage of welfare pensions were all major issues affecting the Badli Assembly which he had promised to tackle on returning to power. He said that the five guarantees announced by the Congress ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections will be fulfilled, like the Congress had done in Karnataka, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand, which will make qualitative improvement in the life of the people.
