Ayodhya Ram Temple Event-Centre has declared half-day holiday on 22 January 2024 at all Central Government establishments.

New Delhi

Central Government offices, school and college to remain shut till 2.30 pm on January 22 to enable employees participate in Ram Lalla Pran Pratishthan at Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

This is in response to the overwhelming sentiment and demand of employees to participate in the celebrations associated with Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya.

Accordingly, all Central Government offices, Central Institutions and Central industrial establishments across the country shall remain closed for half a day till  2:30 PM.

National broadcaster Doordarshan has made elaborate arrangements for the live telecast of the entire event, which will also be shown on several private TV channels.

Arrangements have been made for the live screening of the Ayodhya ceremony on large screens at public places in India and abroad.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has declared a holiday in educational institutions on January 22 for the Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.

Several states have declared January 22 as a public holiday in Honor of the ‘Pran Prathishtha’ ceremony for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday released a series of commemorative postage stamps dedicated to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
